Our Story
The path to Vintage 2298 began decades ago as Randall Baldwin watched his mother Nancy cook delicious recipes from scratch in the kitchen of his childhood home. As he grew up, he became his mother’s sous chef and developed a passion for being in the kitchen. After establishing a successful culinary career, Randall decided to pursue his dream of opening his own restaurant in honor of his mother.
Vintage 2298 was born out of a joy for bringing families together around the table for exceptional food in an inviting atmosphere where everyone is welcome to grab a seat and have a taste.
Meet the Chef
Chef Randall Baldwin has been in the culinary industry for 25 years. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2004, Chef Randall worked in numerous premier restaurants across the state until he decided to pursue his dream of opening his own. Vintage 2298 marries Chef Baldwin’s passion for cooking with a fine dining experience focusing on Southern classics.
